It is amazing that Toyota made these into 4x4 versions. Maybe a little top heavy? Maybe a little under powered? Maybe no problems at all...

Time for a new suspension or maybe not
Riding low is one thing but it can be troublesome. My Benz had a 4 inch drop and it killed me to hear the cats scaling over speed bumps. The van however is an all-natural sag.
That drop takes time to develop
Copper or Brown?
People think I am nuts when I jump out, ask for a picture and take off. Where do these pictures wind up? Well, here of course...
Another mileage milestone
There I was cruising along when I looked at the odometer and realized I had passed 470,000 kilometres at some point during the day.

Catastrophe!
Ever have a Monday that goes on all week?
All the planets are lined up wrong?
Black cloud following overhead?
Yup, it was one of those days....

Spark plugs
With the high mileage and all, the van does go through a bit of oil. I tend to use the thickest I can
find like 20w50, although it does tend to make winter start ups a little tough. In the coldest months of winter i switch to 10w40 , then back to the thick molasses. One problem with burning a bit of oil is spark plug fouling. I am now replacing plugs every 12 months or so, about 10,000 kms. Bit of a hassle but I just throw in some cheap Champions and off we go! These suckers do not look happy.
